Knee-jerk response by elected
officials in the wake of Sandy Hook has gun owners justifiably worried about
the loss of our rights. Discussion of Civil War helps only our opposition.
Dear Leader loves nothing better than
hearing disgruntled Americans talk about civil war, secession and other extreme
responses to his policies and unconstitutional dictatorship that’s growing in
power by the day. It’s in anticipation of such civil unrest that he’s directed
the Department of Homeland Security to buy 1.6 BILLION rounds of mostly hollow
point ammo during the past few months. If push comes to shove, they’re
perfectly willing to kill millions of us.
Many Americans falsely believe that
the North Vietnamese showed us that a motivated, poorly armed, low-tech resistance can overcome
a superpower; others see the Afghan’s successful resistance against the USSR as
further proof of this principle. Hate to burst any bubbles of hope, but it was
the hand-tying “rules” of engagement that kept our military forces from
decisive victory in Vietnam! “Rules” like the one that kept our forces from
pursuing and killing communist forces that ran across borders from Vietnam into
Cambodia or Laos. Other “rules” kept us from bombing north of the so-called
demilitarized zone, and from effectively destroying enemy supply lines. Hell, Lyndon Johnson paved the way for Russia to
arm the North Vietnamese (How Democrat is that?)! After ten years of pulling punches—and the death of
some 58,000 US soldiers (and some 3,000,000 communists) our politicians signed
a “peace treaty” with the enemy. Afghanistan’s struggle with the Russians was a
little different—for a GREAT account of that read “Charlie Wilson’s War”—forget
the movie. The book goes into much more detail. The US military and the CIA
armed and trained what would become the very army we’re fighting today. WE
taught them how to make and use the IED’s that have wounded and killed so many
of us in the current war. We armed them with light weapons and heavy weapons,
and taught them how to deploy them in a “symphony” to eventually force the
Russians out.

eroding of our rights Contact your congress critters today! BE RESPECTFUL. BE FIRM. Tell him/her/it that
you DON’T WANT any more gun control, restrictions on magazines, or closing of
any non-existent "gun show loopholes". They’ve already got more than 20,000 gun
laws on the books, and it’s obvious that they don’t stop lunatics OR criminals.
Let the states provide their own police officers at schools they way that
Albuquerque Public Schools has for the past 10 years. No school shootings
there!
Remind (clearly and firmly) him/her/it
about the 1994 midterm elections when Democrats lost control of both Houses for
the first time in 40 years.
Don’t bother discussing the US
Constitution—he/she/it has never read it, and doesn’t care. They care only
about keeping the $175g’s per year they’re paid for their underworked and
